The Muncie TG Series POWERFLEX PTO allows the stocking of ONE housing size and, using easy-to-change gear combinations and other options, assemble PTO's that cover capacities from 27 to 54 HP at 1000 RPM. Torques from 140 to 285 lb.-ft. with speeds to 2500 RPM.

The Muncie POWERFLEX can be equiped for nine different speed ratios. There's six different types of output shafts, including a standard 1-1/4" shaft, plus other popular mounting flanges. Thirty-seven interchangable transmission gear pitches can be set in place in a mattter of minutes. Added together, the list of options totals to more than 50,000 different combinations - all from the same TG Series PTO.

Installation is easier because the reduced overall size of the PTO means fewer frame interference problems. The lighter aluminum housing significantly requces weight and provides for better sound diffusion.

POWERFLEX can be mechanically shifted by air, lever and cable - or the PTO can be electrically operated with a solenoid airshift.

POWERCLUTCH PTO
for Allison Automatic and Manual Transmissions

Muncie's Electric Air PTO provides in-dash control power shifting for all Allison transmissions and many manual transmissions. The Powerclutch can be hydraulically shifted on Allison transmissions if air is not available. Pressure lubrication included as required. With a maximum of 2500 RPM it can handle higher speeds, higher torque and HP capacities than other designs. Available in both 12 and 24-volt.

Super-Strong polyethylene reservoirs molded in one piece.

One piece molding means NO seams to leak - NO weld slag to breed contamination. The standard 50 gallon reservoir (upright or side mount) is available in black or silver.Empty weight (without hardware) is only 32 lbs,, yet reservoirs have more impact strength than a comparable steel unit.

Reservoirs carry a lifetime warranty when mounted on the original chassis.

All system hoses, hardware, and the reservoir are packed in ONE carton. A complete installation can be made by one man with time cut up to 50%.

All reservoirs come standard with a prism type sight glass at 80% full point, as well as an additional port available for optional temperature sensing switch.

Complete Wet Line Systems with Lifetime Warranted Reservoirs.

Foam retarding diffuser built into reservoir prevents pressure build-up, foaming or oil blow-over. Breather filler cap with built-in 40 micron air filter helps keep system clean. All porting is pipe threaded.

All parts in the system are non-crrosive and require no painting. Comes standard with chrome straps and mountion base.

Cast Iron RED E Series Dump Pumps rated 23 and 27 GPM @ 1000 RPM. Available in direct or remote mount.

Muncie in-cab Air or Cable/Lever control Console, in combination with a TG POWERFLEX® PTO and a RED-E Series Dump Pump, Provides a safer and more productive work environment. This optional system requires no driveline, universal joints, or other externally exposed parts. RED-E pump capacities: 23 and 27 GPM @ 1000 RPM. Speed rated to 2500 with operated pressure to 2500 PSI. Pumps carry a TWO Year Warranty, plus an additional One Year Warranty when used with Muncie's polyethylene reservoir and used as a three line system.

Ait Feathering capability. Allows operator of in-cab console with air control to lower the hoist or dump body gradually. Helps prevent jolting, damaged frames and suspensions. Especially helpful for difficult-to-lower loads like asphalt into paving equipment - or dumping half loads, even when truck is moving.
